Allow me to introduce myself
-
I take a whole-person view. A child doesn't stop existing when they leave school, and they don't stop existing when they leave my office. I want to understand the full picture — how they learn, how they connect, what their days actually feel like — and I want the people who love them to feel like partners in that process, not bystanders. Whatever brings you to my door, you'll find someone who is genuinely glad you're there.
I aim to create an environment where my clients feel welcomed, understood, and empowered. Whether it is conquering anxiety or OCD, facing difficulties in academics, or developing emotion regulation skills, I want my clients to feel that they have someone in their corner that meets them where they are. Whatever you or your child are working on, we’ll work on it together.

Understanding. Whether it is through psychological or educational assessment or the therapeutic process, I seek to understand and honor the individual and their context —however they walk into my office.
Compassion. Beyond simply empathy and kindness, my work is action-oriented and seeks to solve problems, reduce harm, and ease suffering.
Science. In assessment, I use the latest instruments to answer the questions you may have. My evaluations are structured to reflect best evidence-based practices. In out-patient treatment, I utilize therapeutic techniques that are supported by research.

My path has taken me places that don't always end up on the same résumé. I've done home visitation work with Head Start families in rural Pennsylvania, conducted research on military family wellbeing, studied the long-term effects of trauma and child abuse, and worked as a school psychologist serving both general and special education students across different districts and communities. I then completed a postdoctoral fellowship specializing in anxiety and OCD at a cognitive-behavioral therapy center. That range isn't incidental; it's shaped how I see people. I've had the privilege of sitting across from families from every walk of life, and that experience is something I bring into every evaluation and every therapy room.
